EUROPEAN CHAMPS – Draws are out

The European Championships will be held next week in Manchester, England, for 5 days on the same dates as the Asian Badminton Championships held in Delhi. The draws have just been released and Denmark seems to be looking for a clean sweep unless England takes a step up from recent results. Peter Gade and Jan Jorgensen are set to meet up in the final of the men’s singles event, unless Joachim Persson finds the mental strength to prevent this.  Others could be playing dark horses such as Palyama, Pang, Zwiebler and local hopes Smith and Ouseph.
