China’s Li Xuerui and Xin Lui are on for a double success in the individual event of the World Badminton Championships in Chinese Taipei as the two Chinese shuttlers are facing each other in the women’s single event before joining the same side of the net to try t conquer together the women’s double crown against Ma Jin and Shu Cheng.

China will not get a clean sweep this time however as both the men’s single and men’s double titles are already beyond their reach. Tommy Sugiarto will take on Taipei’s Hsuan Hsueh-Yi while hot favourites and world’s 6th pair of Fang and Lee will play Thailand’s Isara/Jongjit on Sunday.
