MALAYSIA NATIONAL FINALS 2011 – Double Gold for Tan Boon Heong

While his partner Koo Kien Keat was partnering Zhang Nan in the China Badminton League, Tan Boon Heong scooped two Gold medals in the Proton National Grand Prix Circuit finals 2010 in Kuala Terrenganu, Malaysia this week-end. The fastest smasher on the planet worked wonders both in the men’s doubles with Hoon Tien How and in the mixed with Chin Eei Hui, going to a decider in both events’ finals. Lee Chong Wei was the expected winner in the men’s singles while Tee Jin Yi scooped the Gold in women’s singles in the absence of Wong Mew Choo.
