The official website for the , badminton’s mixed team world championship, is finally showing the lists of players for all teams.  Most of those in Group 1 have already been published on Badzine.

Thailand and Chinese Taipei appear to be at full strength, although the singles line-up for Thailand is lacking #2 shuttler Tanongsak Saensomboonsuk and also veteran Salakjit Ponsana, who has been passed in the rankings by her two teenaged compatriots Ratchanok Intanon (pictured) and Porntip Buranaprasertsuk.  Germany will be playing without their new #2 women’s singles player Olga Konon, who recently joined the team from Belarus via Poland, and Russia is minus top women’s singles player Ella Diehl.

India is the only team entered in Group 1 that will be without its most dependable challenge in mixed doubles, as 2010 India Open champion Diju Valiyaveetil is still out with an injury and will not be able to partner Jwala Gutta.

Several of the teams from Group 2 to 4 are fielding skeleton contingents, including Poland and Canada, just two the many teams weighing in with fewer than 10 players.  For Singapore, Shinta Mulia Sari is playing but neither of her brothers are making the trip to Qingdao.  France’s Pi Hongyan is expected to make her first international appearance of the year.
