Badminton loses one of his great ambassadors

Former Scottish international player, Russell Hogg, has passed away at the age of 44 today in Scotland after a battle with illness. It is a great loss for the badminton fraternity as Russell was a true ambassador for the sport, not only as a player, but for his involvement for the sport after his playing days.

Former Scottish international player, Russell Hogg, has passed away at the age of 44 today in Scotland after a battle with illness. It is a great loss for the badminton fraternity as Russell was a true ambassador for the sport, not only as a player, but for his involvement for the sport after his playing days. Russell had been a key part of the success of the recent Olympics, when he had worked as part of the team which delivered the Games in London. He will be greatly missed. Badzine’s thoughts are with his friends and family.
