As expected, there was no contest about which 1994-born badminton player showed the most promise. In our latest Badzine poll, Tai was picked by 449 of 510 voters as showing the most promise of any player whose junior eligibility ended this January. Next up was French Open finalist Viktor Axelsen with 43 votes, while 2012 World Junior Champion Kento Momota was 3rd with 20 votes. The top doubles players were two-time World Junior Champions and Korea Grand Prix Gold runners-up Lee So Hee and Shin Seung Chan. They were in the poll as a pair but received only 12 votes.
We will keep the poll open for a few more days, so click here if you haven’t yet had your say.
