Most of the competing shuttlers have arrived in the city-state of Singapore under a bright sun this Sunday as the next two-part leg of the Super Series is about to kick off. The Li-Ning Singapore Super Series Badminton Championships will be starting with qualification rounds on Tuesday, with some local players involved to make it to the main draw, while the main hopes for the local spectators will rely on Yao Lei and Mulya Shinta Sari, reigning champions who mentioned on Sunday they didn’t feel any pressure. Gu Juan has also been shining on the international stage and will be hoping to make it through to the quarter-finals in spite of having Porntip Buranaprasertsuk as a potential second round opponent.
