French citizens from New Caledonia scooped almost all medals in the badminton event of the XIV Pacific Island Games held on their home soil in Noumea this week end. After a Gold medal in the team event over Fiji Island, The hosts scooped all but one Gold medal in the individual events. Only Andra Whiteside from Fiji prevented the clean sweep by beating Valerie Sarengat of New Caledonia in the women’s singles event.
