Tickets finally went on sale yesterday for the upcoming Victor Korea Open Superseries Premier. It may even be possible, for the first time, to order online from overseas for what may be the best value among the 5 OSIM Superseries Premier events. In addition to the Auction Ticket service used in past years, the event organizers have made tickets available through Gmarket. Although the event listing is only accessible from the Korean-language version of the site, prospective customers could theoretically sign up and login through the seller’s English-language version before struggling with the purchase process in Korean (accessible only with Internet Explorer). English language access and even the possibility of registering as an overseas customer are both rarities in Korea’s notoriously insular online business environment.
Tickets went on sale weeks ago for the Maybank Malaysia Open Superseries, of course, and months ago for the 2012 Yonex All England Open Superseries Premier. Both services are available only in English.
