There was sweet revenge for Kunshan, China, as the Chinese city in Jiangsu Province beat Jakarta to be named as the host for the 2016 Thomas and Uber Cups. Last year, the capital of Indonesia had won a similar bidding battle for the 2015 World Championships. The BWF announced the winner of the bid on Thursday after deliberation. Lima, Peru will host the World Junior Championships in 2015 – it was the only bid.
