Malaysia will have no representative in the men’s singles in the upoming China Masters in Changzhou, from September 14th to 19th, after Lee Chong Wei decided to pull out from the event. The top seed from Malaysia suffered a back injury in Paris and decided, together with his coach Misbun Sidek, not to take any chances of making it worse a few weeks before the Commonwealth Games and the Asian Games.
