The China Masters has already seen reunited pair Chai Biao / Zhang Nan (shown here in the 2010 Superseries Finals) take a Superseries title and September had a few other sneak previews but when the Superseries gets back to Europe in October, the post-Olympic doubles shuffle will really have grown its legs, so to speak.
Chai and Zhang, are merely getting back together, Lee Yong Dae and Ko Sung Hyun have already had very limited runs in the past. Still more are brand new and a few may turn out to be merely scratch pairings. This shouldn’t stop us from speculating, though. Which of these twelve new pairs do you think has the most potential?
This poll has now been closed as all the pairs involved prepare to play in the Yonex Denmark Open Superseries Premier. Nearly half of the 103 Badzine readers who voted feel that Lee Yong Dae and Ko Sung Hyun are the new partnership to watch. Keep an eye out tomorrow as they take on former All England champions Koo Kien Keat / Tan Boon Heong of Malaysia.
The comments section will remain open for hindsight observations.
