The Swiss Open 2011 will be staged right after the All England in March as it has been for the past few years, even if it has lost its Super Series Status. The information was confirmed by Thomas Lund, BWF’s CEO today. “We are still trying to sort out the calendar for the three years to come, but it is a safe thing to say that the Swiss Open will be staged next year right after the All England,” said Thomas Lund, while some earlier information had hinted that India’s new Super Series might take this spot in the calendar.
BWF’s CEO also indicated that while the Super Series finals are not yet planned on the official website, they will be staged, but the exact date and place need final confirmation.
