Current badminton women’s singles World Champion Wang Lin underwent successful surgery to repair the torn anterior cruciate ligament in her left knee last Thursday. She announced this good news in her mini-blog the day following the operation.
“The surgery was performed yesterday and deemed to be a success. I was not able to write here yesterday after the surgery because my body is very weak. But, my body is getting better today and the doctor said I made out great. I am fine, no worry,” Wang Lin wrote, in an update to her mini-blog. According to her, she will be in Munich, Germany to undergo the first stage of rehabilitation exercises, and then she will return to China to undergo the second and third stage of the rehabilitation exercises.
