Gade’s last shirt on auction for charity

Peter Gade’s last T-shirt worn during an international competition was donated by the Dane to Solibad for an auction which lasts until November 8th, 2012. Gade wore this sleeveless shirt when he received his special prize for his career by the French Federation’s president, in Coubertin Stadium, Paris, on Sunday, October 28th. He had ended his international career two days before when he lost to his compatriot Jan O Jorgnesen in straight games. All benefits of the auction will be given to Solibad – Badminton without Borders, a charity organisation which helps underprivileged children in various places in Asia, Europe and South America. The shirt is signed by Gade.
