The online game Badminton Manager continuously gains popularity. And it is worth leading your team to the top: The champions will receive appealing prizes from Babolat.
The top three badminton teams in Germany? No doubt about it, it’s TG Mülheim, TSV Dresden and BSC Herzogenrath. Never heard of them? It’s hardly surprising. These teams are heading the all-time table of the “1st National League” in Badminton Manager. This is the special attraction of this browser-game that was launched seven years ago and has since fascinated nearly 1,500 managers. Support your team and become the most popular team in the world of Badminton-Manager!
You have to spend some time with your team every day to coach your players or to change the formation. But unlike to other online games you don’t have to spend real money to progress. You only have to be concerned about your virtual bank account. If you use all your money for your team signing better players or buying high quality equipment, you will soon declare bankruptcy. So you also have to level up your infrastructure. For example you can expand your arena to raise the ticket revenues.
It is also important to prepare for the future by spending money for the education of youth players and building a youth academy. It’s your decision how you lead your club, but for sure you have to show many management skills to rise to the top.
However, for a talented manager, the success won’t be long in coming! How does the day-to-day business work? Well, one season lasts 18 matches and every day is a match day. Your team starts in the “5th regional league” and six promotions later you have achieved the ultimate goal: Your team will be a member of the “1st National League”
But also as a low-level team you have the chance to tease one of the big teams in the National Cup, staged as a sudden death tournament. Every day there is a cup match at 12:00pm (CET).
You can log into the game at home on your computer, or on the road on your smartphone as there is also an app for Android users.
Additionally, there is also another incentive to win as many matches and titles as possible: Babolat is providing appealing prizes for the champions: e.g. bags, backpacks or rackets as a reward for the most dedicated managers.
The game developers, Jan Sedlmayr and David Obernosterer, who plays in the German Bundesliga for PTSV Rosenheim and is also a member of the Austrian national team, recently decided to create a second country in the world of Badminton-Manager, so it is easier for newcomers to keep up in the new competition: Denmark, home country of the iconic Peter Gade and Camilla Martin.
Will they someday coach their own teams in Badminton-Manager?
Only time will tell!
